Libri sul Lago – Fuori Festival with Chiara Moscardelli
Friday 3 July 2026 - h. 20:45
On Friday, July 3rd, at 8:45 pm, a Libri sul Lago – Fuori Festival event with Chiara Moscardelli will take place at the Pinacoteca Gianni Bellini in Sarnico.
Chiara Moscardelli presents her new novel, “Teresa Papavero e le verità nasconderti” (Giunti).
A Roman, Milanese by adoption, Moscardelli is one of the most original voices in contemporary Italian fiction: her books blend crime fiction, comedy, and a sharp style that makes you laugh and think at the same time. Her debut novel, “Volevo essere una gatta morta” (I Wanted to Be a Dead Cat), quickly became a cult classic, and Teresa Papavero—a reluctant detective, ironic, and deeply human—is one of the characters most beloved by readers.
This time, Teresa is reluctantly dragged to a detox resort. But the tranquility of the resort is short-lived. Between secrets, lies, and old, unresolved scores, Teresa must confront a murder and the mystery of her mother’s death, risking her life once again to uncover the truth.
