As part of the Crystal’s 24th theater season (2026-2027), the show “L’illusione coniugale” (The Conjugal Illusion) will be performed in Lovere on Saturday the 14th (8:45 pm) and Sunday, November 15, 2026 (4:00 pm), starring Rosita Celentano, Attilio Fontana, and Stefano Artissunch. The play, written by Éric Assous and directed by Stefano Artissunch, will be performed on stage.

In a luxurious home, the married life of Giovanna and Massimo, a seemingly perfect couple, unravels through a dangerous game of truth and lies. After a social evening, the two engage in a heated confrontation, revealing infidelities, secrets, and insecurities. Massimo, charming and confident, confesses with a certain arrogance his numerous extramarital affairs, prompting Giovanna to reveal her own affairs. Tensions rise when Claudio, Massimo’s old friend and Giovanna’s possible lover, enters the scene. A former tennis player with a sporty and outspoken charm, he finds himself caught up in a game of accusations and revelations that reveals how deeply intertwined their three lives are. Sharp dialogue and emotionally charged situations, punctuated by brilliant quips, expose the protagonists’ vulnerability and desperation as they try to find a balance between truth and forgiveness. Between moments of tension and introspection, the film takes us on an emotional journey that challenges the illusions on which relationships are often based. An empathetic and sophisticated comedy that illuminates the complexity of human nature.
