As part of Crystal’s 24th 2026-2027 theater season, the show “Madre per sempre” (Mother Forever) will be performed in Lovere on Saturday, January 9th (8:45 PM) and Sunday, January 10th, 2027 (4:00 PM), starring Marisa Laurito and Giorgia Würth, by Marta Barceló, and directed by Siddhartha Prestinari.

An unexpected encounter between two very different women, one close to retirement and the other immersed in the world of audiovisual production, one childless and the other motherless, who, upon meeting, intertwine their lives, revealing and rediscovering each other in their respective solitudes, each with the desire to fill a void. They make a simple agreement: to get to know the other without intruding on their world, without invading their life, maintaining distance and restraint. But as time passes, between intimate stories and confessions, this encounter becomes something else. The initial rules loosen, giving way to trust, fragility, and mutual recognition. The relationship evolves, transcends rules, breaks down modesty, loses itself in tenderness, and becomes a family. A “chosen” family, capable of transcending biological and social boundaries. An intense and delicate play that explores in an original way the meaning of motherhood and the building of family bonds. With irony, tenderness, and great humanity, it reflects on what it truly means to become a mother and how love, more than blood, can create a bond destined to last forever.
