On Sunday 26th July 2026, from 1:00 pm, a commemorative sailing event will take place between Sulzano, Monte Isola and the island of San Paolo, ten years after “The Floating Piers”; the sailing boats of the Associazione Nautica Sebina will retrace on the lake the route of the famous floating walkway, offering the public a unique spectacle that can be admired from the lakefront of Sulzano and Monte Isola.

The initiative is the result of a joint effort by the Municipalities of Sulzano and Monte Isola, the Associazione Nautica Sebina and the Guardia di Finanza; guest of honour will be Margherita Porro, leading sailor of the Sailing Section of the Guardia di Finanza Sports Centre and member of the Luna Rossa team, who has long-standing ties with ANS Sulzano.
