On Saturday 5 September 2026, La Capitanio will return to its former splendor following its recent restoration, completed thanks to the support of the FAI (Italian Environment Fund) and Intesa Sanpaolo, as part of the “I Luoghi del Cuore” program.

The event marks the official return of the vessel to the community, marking its centenary.

From 2:30 to 3:00 PM, La Capitanio will be the protagonist of a parade of honor along the Lovere lakeside, with a final carousel in front of Palazzo Tadini.

At 3:30 PM, the event will continue in the Sala degli Affreschi of the Tadini Academy with the conference: “La Capitanio rinasce a cent’anni. Storia, restauro e futuro di un Luogo del Cuore”.

An opportunity to rediscover La Capitanio on the lake and share this important milestone with the community.
