PALAZZO LANTIERI DE PARATICO – Capriolo (Bs)
On the occasion of the FAI Autumn Days, on 16 and 17 October 2021, Palazzo Lantieri de Paratico will open its gates in Capriolo. The building was built as a fourteenth-century tower, then incorporated in several extensions. It is located in the “upstream” of the historic centre of the village of Capriolo, a place on the border between the territories of Brescia and Bergamo, separated by the river Oglio, and gives the possibility to admire the ancient village of Castelli Calepio and the countryside of Franciacorta.

The visit of the parish church dating from the thirteenth century will focus on the most important works of art preserved inside.

MEDIEVAL COURTS AND TOWERS, AND BRONZE FRY OF F. SEVERINO – Capriolo (Bs)
The tour will highlight the coexistence of medieval elements preserved in a modern residential context, which has undergone over the years various types of use and has recently seen shrewd renovation. Note a beautiful courtyard with an arcade, enclosed by stained glass windows, which houses a collection of contemporary art sculptures.

CASTLE-CONVENT – Capriolo (Bs)
It will be possible to discover the beauties and the artistic relevance of a building that was born like a castle and was transformed over time into a convent, of which the valuable church of Santa Maria degli Angeli is well preserved.
Today it is home to a kindergarten and educational activities.
