On Saturday, January 28th at 9 pm at Teatro Sociale in Palazzolo sull’Oglio the theatre show “Lydia tra le nazioni” will be staged, as part of the “CI.T.T.À. DOLCI” review.

It is the story of Lydia Gelmi Cattaneo: the first woman from Bergamo who received the recognition of Giusta tra le Nazioni for having saved many Jews between 1943 and 1945. The show is based on her life in order to describe a complex historical moment, asking an uncomfortable question: is it right to save – in addition to victims – even criminals, when their life is in danger?
