Sunday, April 2nd starting at 7.30 am in Piazza Cavour in Rovato, the second edition of “La VignaStorica” – the historic cycling event in the heart of Franciacorta – will take place. Departure is scheduled at 9.30 am.

The event was born from the passion for cycling in all its forms, with the intention of being a free ride along secondary asphalted and dirt roads, linking the sport to the food and wine tradition thanks to the refreshment points located along the route, in the most representative villages of the Franciacorta.

The route, with departure and arrival in the historic Piazza Cavour in Rovato, this year consists of two itineraries, both free pedaling, along the roads and gentle morainic hills of Franciacorta, crossing the following municipalities: Rovato, Coccaglio, Cologne, Erbusco, Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Capriolo, Adro, Corte Franca, Passirano and Cazzago San Martino. The short route, 40 km long and with a vertical drop of 350m, includes three refreshment points and a final lunch. The long route, 70 km long and with an altitude difference of 850m, includes four refreshment points and a final lunch.
