From 8 to 10 September 2023 the “Arawordbridge, un ponte di parole” festival will be held in Lovere. Three appointments, three meetings, three evenings of music, theater and journalism with Ferruccio De Bortoli, Massimo Bubola, Gene Gnocchi, Eugenio Finardi and the participation of local guests.

The unpublished project is organized by the Araberara periodical and by the Municipality of Lovere. The leitmotif of the three days is the theme of the border, understood as a union, a resource, an exchange of ideas. The same union that Lovere for the territories and Araberara for the news represent in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, Capitals of Culture 2023, united by a border not only geographical but of cultures and traditions.

The events are all free.

Sunday 10 September, the final evening of the festival, there will be a double appointment at the Crystal Theater in Via Valvendra.

At 20.30 Ferruccio De Bortoli, columnist, former director of Sole 24 Ore and Corriere della Sera, will retrace with Eugenio Finardi 50 years of the music of the singer and guitarist from Milano, one of the most popular of Italian rock and pop music; a music that has crossed different and infinite worlds, from Rebel Music to Extraterrestrial, from Sweet Italy to the Force of Love. The meeting will be moderated by Piero Bonicelli and Davide Agazzi.

Afterwards, around 21.30, Eugenio Finardi will perform with his “Euphonia Suite”. After years in which he alternated the performance of his compositions with narration and spoken analysis in concerts, the historical voice of Italian rock together with Mirko Signorile on the piano and Raffaele Casarano on the sax, presents an innovative and original project, through pieces from the his repertoire but also of authors he deeply loved, reinterpreted as meditations on the human condition.
