“Le 2 Rive del Jazz” – Documentary trailer “Trovesi’Stories” and Christmas concert

The summer traveling exhibition “Le 2 Rive del Jazz” organized by the Luigi Tadini Association and The Editor arrives in the Hall of Frescoes of the Tadini Academy in Lovere for four events featuring established musicians and new talents from the Bergamo and Brescia jazz scene. There will also be space for the documentary on the Lovere Jazz Festival of the Seventies and the preview of the trailer of the next video which tells the story of maestro Gianluigi Trovesi.
Four events with the contribution of the Lombardy Region which aim to demonstrate the vitality of the Bergamo and Brescia jazz scene, therefore faithful to the project of qualifying the musical proposal on the two shores of Lake Iseo. At the same time, with the two documentaries, one finished and the second still in progress, we want to bear witness to the history of this music in our territory through the story of the four incredible years of Lovere Jazz 1977-1980 and the story of the great career of an extraordinary musician like Gianluigi Trovesi.
Closing on Sunday 10 December with the preview of the trailer of the documentary that Silvia Berretta and Alberto Mondinelli are making to tell the extraordinary career of a legend of
Italian and world jazz music, Gianluigi Trovesi from Bergamo. The documentary “Trovesi’Stories” will be ready at the beginning of next year on the occasion of the eightieth birthday of the great musician, but the opportunity is taken to present some passages of the long film in the presence of maestro Trovesi himself in the room.
Followed by the Christmas Concert, obviously in a jazz key, always with a lineup of local musicians who will re-propose some standards of the European and American Christmas tradition with original arrangements.
