FollowYourPassion: on Sunday 7 July 2024 LovereTRI lights up the summer of triathlon

The Lovere race will be held over two distances: medium triathlon and 37.2.
Technical and spectacular routes in the surroundings of the Bergamo town.
Registrations open until July 3rd.

The Italian medium distance triathlon championship returns to Lovere. An already tested and much appreciated formula which also this year offers three hamlets with breathtaking routes to experience the beauty of the area as an absolute protagonist. On the same route the new distance LovereTri 37.2 is added. An event not to be missed for all the fans!

GARA MEDIO
The medium has always characterized the LovereTRI, it was precisely on this distance that it was the race that awarded the titles of Italian specialty champion from 2015 to 2019 and then again in 2021. The triathletes will swim 1.9 km, cycle 85 km and run 20.3 km.

GARA 37.2
The 37.2 was the new competition and the (won) bet of 2023: an atypical distance that includes 900 m of swimming, 30 km of cycling and 6.3 km of running. A number of kilometers that gives the triathlete the opportunity for shorter distances, such as sprinting (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling, 5 km running), to test themselves on a slightly longer route, to make it – why not – a real springboard towards the Olympic triathlon (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, 10 km running) and medium.

EVENT PROGRAMME:

Saturday 6 July 2024 | Tourist port of Lovere

– from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm: collection of bibs and race pack at the secretariat;
– from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm: technical briefing of the races;

Sunday 7 July 2024 | Tourist port of Lovere

Medium Triathlon
– from 05:30 am to 06:30 am: collection of bibs and race pack at the secretariat;
– from 06:00 am to 07:30 am: entry of the athletes into the Transition Area;
– 07:30 am: closing of the Transition Area;
– 07:45 am: departure of the first battery;
– from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm: bike check-out;
– 11:30 am: expected arrival of first medium LovereTRI athlete;
– 3:00 pm: awards ceremony.

Triathlon 37.2
– from 05:30 am to 07:45 am: collection of bibs and race pack at the secretariat;
– 06:00 am – 07:45 am: opening of the transition area;
– 08:30 am: start of the LovereTRI 37.2 race;
– 10:00 am: expected arrival of first athlete LovereTRI 37.2;
– 11:30 am: awards ceremony LovereTRI 37.2.

For the occasion, changes will be made to the viability of the local roads.
