As part of the 2nd Crystallino Theater Season, on Sunday 12 January 2025 at 3:00 pm the show “Secondo Pinocchio” will be performed in Lovere, a show of puppets, dolls and actors with Daria Paoletta and Raffaele Scarimboli.

Pinocchio, tied by a chain, howls like a dog. Behind him, the puppeteer frees him, reminding him that the scene in which he is hunted by the farmer has been removed from the script. It is immediately clear that the fiction is scenically declared. This will allow the protagonist to experience a playful and spontaneous relationship with the animators. Pinocchio decides to tell some parts of his story and to represent others, using as a ‘stand-in’ a wooden puppet that will be born when the carpenter Geppetto creates his extraordinary son. The latter, in order to go and meet his father, will face the stormy sea, escaping the shark; will land shipwrecked on the island of industrious bees, where he will meet his double, with whom he will speak in secret, as if in front of a mirror. Soon, the father’s worries will be similar to those of the two animators who find themselves chasing Pinocchio and making a thousand recommendations promptly transgressed by the wooden rascal.
