On Sunday 6th October, at 5.00 p.m. on the occasion of the Feast of “Festa della Madonna d’Ottobre” in Provaglio d’Iseo, there will be guided tours of the Monastery of San Pietro in Lamosa.

The free guided tour, open to all at the Monastery of San Pietro in Lamosa, will introduce the different representations of Mary in the Church, in the Discipline and in the Cloister.

Councillor Mariarosa Ghitti, who was responsible for the restoration of some of the frescoes, Battista Simonini of the Associazione Amici del Monastero (Friends of the Monastery Association), an expert, tireless and passionate connoisseur of the history and curiosities of the monumental complex, the young people from the Civil Service and the volunteers who have been helping to keep the Monastery open and active for years, will all take part in the visit.
