In Solto Collina, Christmas is not long in coming: on Sunday 24 November 2024, the 22nd edition of the “Mercatino nella Via” will be held, an initiative promoted by the Centro di Promozione Turistico Culturale and Biblioteca del paese, by the Municipality of Solto Collina and by the Pro Loco La Collina.

The event, starting at 10:00, will offer craft markets, typical products, shows and much more.

SCHEDULE:

– from 14:00: “Tutti al Ranch” by the Scuderia sulla Collina di Esmate, at the parking lot in via Pozzi;
– from 14:00: “Arriva la slitta con Babbo Natale” at the terrace of the library in via Gian Battista Pozzi;
– from 14:00 to 17:00: itinerant shows with street artists through the streets of the center;
– from 2:30 pm: show with the Pie de Solt and the Banda della Collina “The melodies of the Christmas tradition”.
– 5:30 pm: closing show “Un Natale inaspettato”, at Palazzo Ca La Ripa; followed by a surprise with a sparkling grand finale.

In addition, throughout the day:
“Lo scultore all’opera”: it will be possible to watch the live creation of a wooden work on the terrace of the Library;
“Tutti in carrozza”: the Fantasia Express installation will be on display at the library;
“Fuori Mercatino”: spectacular entertainment offered by the merchants in via Teodoro Foresti, 34;
“Lo studiolo di Santa Lucia”: in the courtyard of the library it will be possible to deliver letters for Santa Lucia. The studiolo will remain open for all children until Monday 11 December at the following times: Monday and Wednesday from 15:00 to 18:00 and Friday from 09:00 to 12:00.

In addition, the nativity scene will be set up in the Town Hall Courtyard.

Refreshment points:
– at the Oratorio S. G. Bosco, you can find many delicacies cooked as if at home with gastronomic products from our territory;
– at the Cortile Pozzi there will be the Alpini food and wine stand with tasting of typical products.
