On Sunday 13 April 2025 at 8:30 pm at the Pieve di Solto Collina there will be a theatrical reading of “La Passione”, a very lofty meditation on the incarnation, death and resurrection of Jesus addressed to lay people and believers, with the reciting voice of Michele Marinini and the music of the Coro di Solto Collina.

La passione is a scenic reading that is connected to the performative genre of sacred theatre and fully re-proposes the poetic text of Mario Luzi, written in theatrical versification, corresponding to the traditional stations of the Via Crucis and with the evangelical passages that tell it.

La passione. Via Crucis al Colosseo is a poetic booklet written by Mario Luzi at the request of John Paul II, for Good Friday on 2 April 1999 on the occasion of Easter and was read during the Easter liturgy at the Colosseum.
