On Saturday 26^th April, at 5:30 pm, at the Auditorium Comunale in Sarnico, the presentation of the book “La scacchiera di Morci“, published by Tralerighe Libri, will take place.
An event dedicated to the memory of the Shoah and the story of Morci, a young Jew interned in Sarnico during the Second World War.

The authors, Emanuela Da Ros and Bernardino Pasinelli, will retrace the real story that inspired the novel, focusing on the friendship between Morci and Tina Morotti and the network of solidarity that developed around him in a period marked by the tragedy of war.

The meeting, promoted by the Municipality of Sarnico and the Municipal Library, aims to be a moment of reflection and sharing, so as not to forget the past and to strengthen the importance of historical memory in the new generations.
