On the occasion of the Romantic Night in Lovere, on Saturday 21 June at 9:30 pm in Piazza Tredici Martiri there will be the opening concert of the “Le 2 Rive del Jazz” festival, in which the JW Orchestra will perform with jazz singer Boris Savoldelli with the project “Enzo Jannacci – Uno di noi”.

Enzo Jannacci, one of the pioneers of Italian songwriting, perhaps the one who most escapes labels and classifications, where the themes of his songs move cheerfully from visionary irony to biting social satire, to the most poignant poetry. An unrepeatable and certainly unproposable character in contemporary pop music, he stimulated the creativity of an original composer and arranger such as Corrado Guarino who wanted at his side a vocal performer with a dazzling personality such as Boris Savoldelli, to pay homage to this inimitable artist by immersing his melodies in the sparkling and here and there unpredictable dimension of orchestral jazz, knowing full well that Jannacci had also started from there. And what better group than the JW Orchestra to face this new musical adventure? Hence the title we wanted to give to the concert: Enzo Jannacci: one of us.

In case of bad weather the concert will be rescheduled for the following Sunday.
