“Le 2 Rive del Jazz” – Boat concert
Saturday 12 July 2025 - h. 21:00

On Saturday 12 July, at 9:00 pm, for the second event of the “Le 2 Rive del Jazz” festival, the Boat Concert will take place in the middle of Alto Lago d’Iseo, where the duo composed of Boris Savoldelli (vocals) and Marco Baronchelli (lute) will present their project “Onde tra antico e moderno” aboard the vintage Ligurian gozzo “Nello”.
An original and fascinating musical project, born from the meeting between two artists with profoundly different but complementary musical souls: Boris Savoldelli, an experimental vocalist known for his eclecticism between jazz and pop-rock, and Marco Baronchelli, a refined interpreter of ancient music on the lute. This duo gives life to a surprising sound dialogue, where the past and the present intertwine in a continuous wave of contaminations and suggestions. The lute, symbol of a distant era, meets the modern and chameleonic voice of Savoldelli, capable of ranging between vocal virtuosity and improvisation. A musical journey suspended between apparently distant worlds, which merge into a coherent, engaging and highly evocative narrative. Renaissance and Baroque pieces but also jazz and pop-rock standards are transformed and revealed in new lights, thanks to a creative and original reinterpretation, which enhances their beauty and renews their meaning. Designed specifically for the unique setting of the Boat Concert, this show uses the floating and poetic environment of the water to amplify the sense of travel and musical metamorphosis. An extraordinary sound and visual experience, which invites the audience to abandon themselves to the currents of music, between deep roots and future visions.
In case of bad weather the concert will be recovered the following Sunday.
Free admission without reservation.
