Another appointment with “Un’estate di sere incantate”, the summer exhibition of the Tadini Gallery, for an after-hours visit to the collection. Immerse yourself in a unique experience that blends art, literature and history in an unforgettable evening: “In the Count’s Rooms: Between Weapons and Knights”, an event curated by internal educators, designed to transport you to an atmosphere full of charm and suggestions.
Inspired by Calvino’s famous canto XI — ““Come trovasti, o scelerata e brutta invenzion, mai loco in uman core?” — the evening tells the stories of ladies and knights, between weapons, loves and betrayals, through a vivid and engaging narration. The audience will be the protagonist of a journey that passes through the rooms of a past on the threshold of the sunset of the chivalric code, between ancient values and untamed passions. At the heart of the event, the legendary figure of Giulio Manfron stands out, a mercenary leader whose life was marked by a tragic betrayal: killed by a shot from an arquebus, symbol of a “modern devilry” that seemed to have put an end to the world of chivalry. But the magic of literature lives on in Ludovico Ariosto’s famous “Orlando Furioso”, which tells of an era and an imaginary world destined to endure over time. “In the Count’s Rooms” is not just a cultural evening, but a sensory experience that combines words, images and suggestions in an engaging and exciting atmosphere. Whether you are a history buff, a literature lover or simply curious, this is an unmissable opportunity to discover fascinating stories, narrated with enthusiasm and passion.
