On Saturday, December 13^th, at 8:30 pm, in the church of San Filastro in Villongo, the Vox Lucis choir offers a musical moment of profound meditation, in which art transforms into prayer and a message of hope through choral music.

Michela Cristallo’s text tells the story of Myriam (the Hebrew name for Mary), mother of Jesus and the Mother par excellence, a figure who, more than any other, will act as an intermediary between humanity and divine mercy.

The musical pieces performed by the choir expertly and harmoniously alternate with the poetry of the text, read by Jacopo Bottani.

The instrumental parts are performed by Issei Watanabe (cello) and Laura Crosera (organ). Giovanni Duci conducts.

Under the patronage of the Lombardy Region, the Province of Bergamo, the Municipality of Villongo, and Cori Lombardia.
