The “SARNICO LOVERE RUN” is a unique race of its kind because it takes place on the road that runs along Lake Iseo. The route, in fact, was designed to enhance the beauty of the lake views of the Bergamo shore, which follow each other rapidly, emphasizing their colours, vegetation and fauna.

It will be held on Sunday 26^th April 2026 and will start from Piazza XX Settembre in Sarnico, then crossing Predore, Tavernola Bergamasca, Riva di Solto and Castro, until arriving at the tourist port of Lovere, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

PROGRAM
on Saturday 25^th April
– 2.30 pm – Sarnico – Stadio Comunale – Kids Run – races reserved for children;
– Meeting/Registration at 2 pm at the Athletics Track in Sarnico;
– Registration is free. Division into categories based on age;
– Races start at 3 pm. Prize giving at the end of the competitions.

on Sunday 26^th April
– 09.10 am: Riva di Solto – Non-competitive departure from Riva di Solto to Lovere (6 km);
– 09.30 am: Sarnico – Competitive start (25 km);
– 12 pm: Lovere – Tourist Port – Awards.

ROUTE
The start of the race is in Piazza XX Settembre in Sarnico, a lakeside tourist center that rests on the southern end of the western shore of Lake Iseo, one of the pearls of Lombardy, capable of attracting thousands of sports, nature, and art enthusiasts every year and well-being.

The route does not have a great difference in height, it is rather flat; the first town you meet after Sarnico is Predore, from which you can clearly observe the opposite bank, the Brescia one, with the landing stage and the lakefront of Iseo.
25 km for those who run the competitive race and 6 km, starting from Riva di Solto, for the non-competitive race.

The arrival is at the Tourist Port of Lovere, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, able to fascinate with its narrow alleys, the streets that intertwine inside, the magnificent palaces and its square which resembles an amphitheater open onto the nature.

BIB PICK UP
– on SATURDAY 25^th APRIL: from 10 am to 7 pm at the Tourist Port of Lovere (arrival area).
– on SUNDAY 26^th APRIL: from 7 am to 8.45 pm at the Sarnico Sports Hall (300 meters from the start).
