69th Bird and Hunting Dog Fair

On Saturday, August 15th, 2026, the 69th Hunting Bird and Dog Fair will take place at Lido Nettuno in Sarnico.
SCHEDULE:
- SINGING COMPETITION with common redwings, blackbirds, finches, larks, thrushes, goldfinches, and siskins:
5:00 am: AMOV Championship Competitor Registration
6:30 am: First Jury Round
7:00 am: Market Opening
7:30 am: Second Jury Round
8:30 am: Third Jury Round
9:30 am: Awards Ceremony for the Best Singers - “CHIOCCOLO” CALL COMPETITION:
9:00 am: Performance by former European Chioccolo Champion Loris Dal Maistro, who will faithfully reproduce the call song both free-mouthed and with the aid of special whistles.DOG SHOW OF ALL BREEDS (excluding mixed-breeds):
8:00 am: Registration begins
10:00 am: Registration closes
10:30 am: Visit to the Jury
followed by: Dog Awards - DO.C FALCONRY DIURINAL AND NOCTURNAL BIRD OF PREY SHOW:
From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, you will have the opportunity to observe the expert raptor trainers of the Do.C Falconry group, photograph, for example, the beautiful golden eagle, ask the falconers questions about this ancient form of hunting, and a lucky few may even experience the thrill of holding a hawk or owl on their wrist. - RESCUE DOG SHOW:
From 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, you can watch the Rescue Dog shows with the W.O.R.D. association.
