The Casoncello festival, now in its 22nd edition, will be held from Friday 14th to Sunday 23rd June 2024.

As the name itself says, the main dish is precisely the casoncello from Bergamo, a dish rich in tradition and tastes linked to the territory.

In addition to the quality of the food, the festival becomes increasingly “eco-friendly”: the service, in fact, is made with ceramic and steel catering crockery, the water is served in glass containers and the plastic used is biodegradable and compostable.

Refreshment service will be active every day in the “Castro Beach” area, from 19:00 to 22:30, and also for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are not available.

In the two weekends of the festival, Canottieri Lovere will offer the Casoncello in Vikinga, while on Monday, Wednesday and Friday it will be possible to enjoy the Casoncelli in Kayak. Info and reservations: 0039 331 384 1324.

Furthermore, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd the Agrisapori crew will be present at the festival to film a report dedicated to the festival which will be broadcast on a series of regional TV channels and beyond.

– 21:30: big ballroom dance in the square with the “Filadelfia” orchestra;

– 10:00: stand featuring typical products from the Bossico plateau. “Mani in Pasta” children’s workshop: children and parents will be able to try their hand at preparing potato bread in collaboration with the “Festa del pane di Patate” group from Bossico;
– 12:30: lunch;
– 20:00: “Dinamic Trial” performance for children;
– 21:30: smooth sailing in the square with the “Standards”.
