INEDITA | Alice Mangione in “Questo è il posto”
Saturday 1 July 2023 - h. 21:00
At the end of the “INEDITA – Nuovi racconti per luoghi antichi” review, on Saturday 1 July 2023 at 21:00 in the splendid Palazzo Bazzini we will meet Alice Mangione of The Pozzolis Family in “Questo è il posto” by Francesco Meola led by Raul Montanari. Live music by Enrico Ballardini.
After almost twenty years of engagement, Alice receives the long-awaited marriage proposal from Luca. She begins an interminable countdown for her dream to come true: the perfect wedding. You need to find a princely location at all costs. During a sleepless night, Alice reads about an English noblewoman who called Lovere the most romantic place in the world. The search, following a few hitches, seems to end with a splendid opportunity; after the rite celebrated in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Valvendra, refreshments will be offered in the halls of Palazzo Bazzini. During the inspection in the rooms of the noble building, however, Alice comes across a series of characters, curious figures who belong to the past of the Bazzini family, strange presences that help her understand that to be happy one can marry in another way. .
The initiative, with free admission subject to availability, is organized with the contribution and participation of the Municipality of Lovere.
