All is ready for the 27th edition of CortoLovere, which will enliven the splendid town of Lovere overlooking Lake Iseo for three days – from 25 to 27 September 2025.

“Il treno dei bambini” – Directed by Cristina Comencini
After the war, little Amerigo leaves Naples aboard the train that will take him away from poverty. In a house in the North, he finds unexpected welcome and affection, but also the pain of a deep nostalgia. A journey of growth that unites hope and loss, between denied roots and a future to choose.

Friday, September 26 at 9:00 PM | Crystal Theater
“Animation Evening” – In collaboration with Studio Bozzetto
Screening of a selection of animated shorts by young female directors; the audience will be able to vote for the “Popular Jury” award. Screening of the short film “Un Sogno in Volo” by Chiara Helm, produced by Studio Bozzetto. The director will be present.

Saturday, September 27th at 4:30 PM | Piazza Tredici Martiri
Meeting with the Author – In collaboration with Libreria Mondadori Lovere
From Novel to Film: Rosella Postorino, an established author on the Italian and international literary scene, will converse with Artistic Director Gianni Canova and Cristiana Mainardi, Producer of the film “Le assaggiatrici,” based on the novel of the same name by Rosella Postorino.

Gala Evening – Occhi sul Lago Competition Awards Ceremony
Final evening attended by Directors Cristina Comencini, Giorgia Farina
