Tuesday, July 11, at 9.30 pm, at the Lido Fontanì, there will be an appointment with the Festival “A LEVAR L’OMBRA DA TERRA” with the show “IF YOU LOVE ME DO NOT CRY – a family story male plural”.

Three brothers meet at the funeral of their father, who before dying left them a precise indication: none of the three will have to shed a tear or the exclusion of all from the will. During the celebration of the funeral, the three find themselves discussing their relationship with their father, the dominant male figure, their difficulties in finding themselves in this role, their life path, and their inability to redefine themselves as male. The unfolding of the function will counterbalance their discussions, looking for a new way of being, to confront the female universe, and sexuality, with the new language of modernity.

In the confrontation, they discover that they feel backward and unprepared, ancient, closed and backward, monsters, men without qualities, liars and hypocrites, with a small and narrow mind, afraid and crushed by an uncontrollable sense of guilt. But the important thing is only one: do not cry. Never.
