On Saturday 30th September, at 7 p.m., Rovato will host the “Festival del Cammino…Sotto le Stelle!” with climber Marco Confortola.

Starting out from the historic centre of Rovato, the walk will cross an evocative path through the woods that will lead to Monte Orfano. Here, well-known climber Marco Confortola, will talk about his vertical world: from extreme mountaineering to environmental issues and mountain safety, moderated by Andrea Mattei, journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 4-km route is easy to walk and it is recommended to bring a headlamp or torch and a blanket to lay on the grass or to cover yourself if it is cool.

The meeting point is at 6.00 p.m. in Piazzale del Foro Boario – Rovato (adjacent large free car park), the start is scheduled for 7.00 p.m..

On arrival at Monte Orfano, at the Alpine Group of Rovato’s venue, there will be the possibility of refreshments with bread and salamina/salami or cheese and drink at the price of 6,00 € (bookable at the time of registration).

It will be possible to register on site at 6.00 p.m. at the meeting point in Piazzale Foro Boario in Rovato. The participation fee is 13,00 €, including Fiasp services, gadgets, a bottle of water and a salty snack.

In the event of bad weather, the walk will not take place, but the lecture will be confirmed to another place.
