Fiato ai Libri – “La Vegetariana”

On the occasion of the 20th edition of the “Fiato ai Libri” Theatre Reading Festival, a theatrical reading of Han Kang’s novel “The Vegetarian” by Sandra Zoccolan will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 9:00 pm at the “Ferrini” Auditorium of the Serafino Riva Institute in Sarnico.
The protagonist of this heartbreaking and enigmatic novel aspires to a radical transformation of her being, to the point of completely rejecting food and identifying with the plant world.
Winner of the 2024 Nobel Prize for Reading, Kang tells the story of self-effacement as the only way to affirm one’s existence.
