A grand concert for a grand Christmas

Lovere is preparing to host a highly prestigious musical event: on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 8:45 PM, in the evocative setting of the Church of San Giorgio, the “A. Vivaldi” Orchestra of Valle Camonica will offer the public an engaging Christmas concert, strongly supported by the Concert Director, Maestro Silvio Maggioni, and the President, Dr. Mario Conti, with the aim of giving Lovere a high-profile musical event, featuring internationally renowned performers.

On the podium, in addition to Maestro Silvio Maggioni, leading a refined program that blends classicist cornerstones with captivating contemporary works, are two exceptional soloists:
– flute: Chiara Picchi, principal flute of the “Luigi Cherubini” Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo Muti;
– harpist Francesca Virgilio, already known for her concerts with the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Milan Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra, to name a few.

The Orchestra will perform an elegant and exclusive program, which, through their technical and interpretive skills, will create a magical atmosphere to the notes of Sinfonia “La Veneziana” by A. Salieri, of the Theme for Flute and Harp by M. Mangani and of the Concert for flute and harp in Do maggiore K.299 and of the Sinfonia n. 29 in La maggiore K.201 di W.A. Mozart.

This event is a special opportunity to share a unique experience during the most magical and radiant time of the year, with young talents who will thrill audiences in a unique architectural setting.

As all the Orchestra’s events, admission to the concert is free (no reservations).
