On Sunday 4th August, at 5.00 p.m. in Monticelli Brusati on the occasion of ‘Franciacorta Aperta’, a guided tour of the “Santuario Madonna Della Rosa” will take place.

The first round will start at 5.00 p.m. and the second at 6.00 p.m.

The sanctuary, dating back to the 15th-16th century, is located on the most panoramic point of the hill known as “Monte della Madonna”. According to popular tradition, the church was built on the spot where the miraculous apparition of the Virgin Mary occurred to a thirsty peasant to whom she pointed out the spring to quench his thirst. A rose garden flourished on the spot where the Madonna appeared.
