The XXX Edition of the Iseo Jazz Festival will take place from Friday 1st to Saturday 9th July.

Six evenings are scheduled in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Sale Marasino and in Iseo. The review wants to give space to the Italian jazz world in all its forms.

Thus, there will be a particular look at history, revisited with contemporary eyes, both for the centenary of the birth of Charles Mingus with the Lydian Sound Orchestra, and in the homage to Miles Davis by the Monday Orchestra or in the look at the path of the piano jazz by Carlo Morena, but also in the project on the Italian jazz song by Enrico Intra.

Enrico Pieranunzi will present a repertoire without limits, from Scarlatti to Morricone, while the Afro-American vocalism will be represented by the American singer Joyce Yuille, without forgetting the guitarism with a Latin spirit by Fabrizio Bai. Finally, there will be a tribute to the pianist Alessandro Giachero who will see the performance – by the Milano C-Jazz Band – of nine arrangements written by young musicians on as many compositions by the artist, with the awarding of the three works chosen as the best. by a qualified jury.
