The musical “La Famiglia Addams” will be staged on Saturday 11 May at 8.30pm at the Crystal Theater in Lovere.

Successfully landed on Broadway in 2009, the musical dedicated to the eccentric and gothic American family protagonist of films, TV series (which celebrates 50 years this year), and comic strips, famous throughout the world for its brilliant black humor , the overwhelming paradoxes and the biting satire of customs, makes use of the lyrics by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and the music by Andrew Lippa.
It’s a special evening at the Addams house: during the annual reunion of all the family members (living, dead and undecided) the eldest daughter Wednesday announces that she has fallen in love with Lucas, a young boy who grew up in a boring and respectable family.
Frightened by her mother’s possible reaction, Wednesday decides to confide in her father, Gomez Addams, making him swear not to tell Morticia about her engagement to Lucas and her marriage proposal. It is the first time that Gomez keeps a secret from his beloved wife. Everything will change completely for both families on the crucial night when the Addams invite Lucas and his parents Mal and Alice to dinner. The tension will skyrocket, between suspicions, misunderstandings, accidents, confessions, antics. Thanks to the help of the ancestors and all the members of the bizarre family, this story will also have its happy ending, so that we can all live unhappy and discontented!
