Saturday 17 January 2026 - h. 15:00
On Saturday, January 17th, the Olympic Flame will also stop in Sarnico, a symbolic event marking the arrival in Italy of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The Flame, lit in Olympia, Greece, will travel over 12,000 kilometers through Italy, passing through 78 municipalities in Lombardy and five UNESCO sites, for a total of 63 days of travel and 12,000 km throughout Italy.
The meeting point is scheduled for 3:10 pm in Via Suardo.
Then the Olympic Flame, accompanied by the official Caravan, will begin its journey. Several torchbearers will take turns relaying approximately every 200 meters, passing through Corso Europa, Via Foppe, Via Vittorio Veneto, Via Roma, and the bridge towards Paratico.
You can discover and see the torchbearers and the flame by positioning yourself at the start and along the route.
The torch will then continue towards Brescia and then towards Desenzano, Trentino and Veneto, before returning to Lombardy at the end of January and arriving in Milan on February 6th.
