La necropoli romana di Lovere verso il nuovo museo
Saturday 7 November 2026 - h. 14:30
The Roman necropolis of Lovere offers important evidence for understanding the Sebino area and the community that inhabited it in Roman times. His study is now part of a project that will lead to the creation of the new Archaeological Museum of Lovere, intended to present these materials in a new exhibition space.
On Saturday, November 7, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Tadini Academy will host an afternoon of studies dedicated to the scientific and museographic project of the future museum and the research that will define its contents.
The interventions will address diverse but complementary themes: from museum design and accessibility to the study of funerary rituals and human remains, to written sources, cartography, and historical images of Lovere.
A journey through disciplines and research tools that allows you to read the finds in their context and delve deeper into the history of the area.
The afternoon of studies is carried out as part of the Know and Share project. The Roman Necropolis of Lovere is heading towards the new museum, with the support of the Lombardy Region through the 2026 Single Culture Notice.
