On Sunday 7 September at 8:45 pm in Piazza Tredici Martiri in Lovere the concert of the “Le 2 Rive del Jazz” festival will take place, in which the JW Orchestra will perform with jazz singer Boris Savoldelli with the project “Enzo Jannacci – Uno di noi”.

Enzo Jannacci, one of the pioneers of Italian songwriting, perhaps the one who most defies labels and classifications, whose themes merrily range from visionary irony to scathing social satire to poignant poetry. A unique figure and certainly unrepeatable in contemporary pop music, he stimulated the creativity of an original composer and arranger like Corrado Guarino, who chose to partner with a vocal performer with a strong personality like Boris Savoldelli. He paid homage to this inimitable artist by immersing his melodies in the lively and occasionally unpredictable dimension of orchestral jazz, knowing full well that Jannacci, too, had begun there. And what better ensemble than the JW Orchestra to embark on this new musical adventure? Hence the title of the concert: “Enzo Jannacci: Uno di noi.”
