The first concert of the “Le 2 Rive del Jazz” festival will be held at the charming Bellini Nautica venue on the lakeside in Clusane d’Iseo, in the presence of the largest collection of vintage Riva speedboats. The headliners, at 9:00 PM on Saturday 11 July, will be the trio The Anderson Council Psychedelic, a subtle reference that Pink Floyd fans will recognize and feel deeply connected to. But there’s no nostalgia here: there’s exploration, risk, and vision. The trio brings together three strong personalities of the contemporary scene: Boris Savoldelli on vocals, Max Milesi on saxophone, and Pietro Gozzini on contrabass. In this project, the three engage with the psychedelic repertoire of the ’60s and ’70s and the universe of Pink Floyd, hence the name of the band, which takes its surnames from the two men from whom Pink Floyd took their name: Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.
