On Tuesday 25 March, at 8:45 pm, at the Ex Chiesetta di Nigrignano in Sarnico, the meeting “The Hope of Peace – Passages between Faiths” will be held: a discussion between Luca Volonté, a minor friar, and Cesare Milani, a Buddhist monk.

The two guests will share their experiences of life and faith, testifying how spirituality can become a concrete instrument of peace and solidarity. Brother Luca Volonté, once a chef in starred restaurants, has chosen the Franciscan path, dedicating himself today to the soup kitchen of the Centro Sant’Antonio in Milan. Cesare Milani, a Buddhist monk trained at the Ghe Pel Ling Tibetan Buddhist Study Center, took vows from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and today teaches meditation in various centers, as well as in the prison of Vigevano.
