“Ospiti/4 – Accademia Tadini. La Casa delle Storie” exhibition
From Sunday 28 June 2026 to Sunday 4 October 2026
From Sunday 28 June to Sunday 4 October 2026, the Tadini Academy in Lovere will host the exhibition “Ospiti/4 – Accademia Tadini. La Casa delle Storie”.
The exhibition will be held in the Accademia Gallery, open during the following hours:
– from Tuesday to Friday: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM;
– on Saturdays & Sundays: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
Admission is subject to the purchase of a ticket to enter the Gallery.
The tour of the “The House of Stories” project, arranged in the rooms, transforms the museum into a symbolic “home”: a place where memory is stored, but also where meanings are continually rewritten.
Thanks to this perspective, the works cease to be exclusively testimonies of the past and take on the function of narrative devices in the present, entering into a relationship with the objects of affection described by the participants, members of the Lovere community who take on the role of protagonists in the narrative.
In the Gallery’s rooms, adjacent to the selected works, totems present the narratives proposed by the participants, accompanied by photographs of the objects interpreted by photographer Davide Bassanesi.
Each narrative is accessible via a QR code, but the catalog can also be downloaded for free in PDF format or borrowed for the visit.
On the second floor, visitors can explore the exhibition through photographs, while the videos and catalog are also available on the museum’s website.
Part of the journey toward the bicentenary of the Accademia Tadini, the project takes on strategic importance in the process of redefining the institution’s identity.
The reinterpretation not only enhances the existing heritage, but also prompts critical reflection on the role of the museum in contemporary times, positioning it as a cultural entity capable of generating civic, as well as cultural, impact.
