Guided tour “Nascita di un sogno: la collezione Tadini tra passato, presente e futuro”
Sunday 3 May 2026 - h. 15:00
On the first Sunday of the month, the Accademia Tadini invites the public to rediscover the essence of its collection through a special tour. On Sunday 3 May at 3.00 pm, the museum’s educational team will guide visitors through a narrative that weaves art together with Count Tadini’s personal history, revealing how a private dream became a collective heritage.
The tour winds its way through the museum’s galleries, focusing on the key figures who make this collection unique on the international stage. We shall encounter Antonio Canova, the genius of Neoclassicism who was bound to the family by a deep friendship, and Francesco Hayez, an icon of Romanticism who chose Lovere as the backdrop for his personal ties.
The journey will continue through the pictorial adventures of Giorgio Oprandi, the ‘knight-errant’, and the masterpieces of Bellini and Paris Bordon. There will also be opportunities to explore the charm of the Historical Library and of the European and Oriental porcelain – the enchanting ‘white gold’ of the collection.
An opportunity to rediscover, through a careful and guided exploration, the richness of an artistic tradition that continues to reflect the identity of our region.
