For the fifth consecutive year, “Le 2 Rive del Jazz”, with the Luigi Tadini Cultural Promotion Association and the fundamental contribution of the Municipality of Lovere, presents the “Natale in Jazz” concert in the Sala degli Affreschi of the Tadini Academy in Lovere. The concert is scheduled for Monday 8 December at 6:00 PM, with free admission subject to availability.

This year’s highlight will be the sound of the JW Quintet, the ensemble that will perform the most beloved Christmas songs, enhanced with a refined and engaging jazz slant. The quintet, a “reduction” of the JW Orchestra, will offer a unique musical experience, where Christmas melodies come to life in a blend of improvisation and virtuosity.
Under the musical direction and arrangements of Marco Gotti, the JW Quintet will perform a repertoire that includes Christmas classics, rediscovered and reinterpreted with the energy and freedom of jazz, just as they were originally conceived. Accompanying the rhythm section—composed of Stefano Bertoli on drums, Sandro Massazza on contrabass, and Francesco Chebat on piano—will be Sergio Orlandi on trumpet and Marco Gotti on saxophone.
Giving voice to this magical Christmas atmosphere are two exceptional singers: Barbara Ravasio and Boris Savoldelli, who will alternate on the songs with emotional and evocative interpretations, perfectly in tune with the joyful and enchanting atmosphere of Christmas.
The concert will be a musical journey that combines tradition and innovation, offering audiences an engaging and original experience, where jazz meets the magic of Christmas.
