From Thursday 5 October to Monday 16 October, the exhibition “In the Heart of Caravaggio and Van Gogh” will take place in the splendid setting of Tavernola Bergamasca, a loving look at reality, between telescope and microscope.

The opening and inauguration of the event will be held on Thursday 5 October at 8.00 pm at Villa Elena in Tavernola Bergamasca. The Corpo Musicale Religio et Patria, mayors of the G16 – Regional, Provincial Authorities, BIM, Mountain Communities, Associations will be present. During the inauguration, there will be a show in Explorer Navigation of the 21 works by the great artists Caravaggio and Van Gogh curated by prof. Roberto Filippetti. Followed by a laser show by Marco Inselvini.

On the occasion of the event “In the Heart of Caravaggio and Van Gogh”, the extraordinary opening of Villa Elena is scheduled, thanks to the project and exhibition event curated by Roberto Filippetti. Furthermore, protagonists of the event will be: – HD photographic reproductions of 14 masterpieces by Caravaggio and 7 by Van Gogh; – 5 interpretations of Caravaggio by the artist Nicola Seghezzi at Villa Elena and Chiesetta ex Cacciamatta; – 5 interpretations of Giotto’s madonnari in the “Duemiladigiotto” at the Church of San Rocco.
