A special evening for those who love art, literature, and great stories. An opportunity to immerse yourself in a welcoming atmosphere, where works of art become the protagonists of a lively, moving, and evocative tale. In the elegant halls of the Accademia Tadini, “In the Count’s Rooms” comes to life, an event that intertwines images, words, and reflections. A visit to the exhibition “Ospiti/3 Francesco Hayez. Imelda e Giulietta eroine romantiche” is included. The evening’s protagonists are strong and captivating female figures, hailing from distant worlds yet united by universal themes: power, loyalty, sacrifice, and the relationship with destiny. On one side, Antigone, a heroine of Greek mythology, an eternal symbol of courage and fidelity. A woman who challenges power to honor the unwritten laws of the heart and the gods. Her tragedy speaks of moral dilemmas, family conflicts, and impossible choices. Antigone is a mythical figure, but her voice resonates powerfully even today. On the other side, Berenice II, a real queen who lived in Ptolemaic Egypt. A powerful, astute woman, capable of navigating political and religious strategies, yet immortalized by poetry. Callimachus and Catullus transformed her into a legend, elevating her to the heavens like a constellation. Two women, two destinies. One steeped in myth, the other in history, both capable of embodying the power of femininity in all its facets. An engaging narrative journey, enriched by a selection of works from the collection, told with a fresh and passionate perspective, designed to move and provoke reflection. The journey concludes with a visit to the exhibition “Ospiti/3 Francesco Hayez. Imelda and Juliet: Romantic Heroines”: we will see the example of two other female figures, legendary for their strength, character, and overwhelming and dramatic passions.
