In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Municipality of Lovere is organizing an awareness conference on Thursday, October 16^th.

The event will be held at 20:30 in the Sala degli Affreschi of the Tadini Academy, with entrance at Piazza Garibaldi 5.

Program:

• Institutional greetings;
• Breast cancer: diagnostic, treatment, and prevention strategies:
  Dr. Domenico Gerbasi – Head of the Breast Surgery Unit and Breast Unit Coordination, ASST Bergamo EST;
• Woman’s heart: the role of the association in prevention and treatment support:
  Myriam Pesenti – President of the “Woman’s Heart” Association;
• The Tetris study: preventing the risks of radiotherapy in breast cancer:
  Dr. Claudio Fiorino – Medical Physics Department, San Raffaele Hospital, Milan;
  Dr. Tiziana Rancati – Data Science Unit, National Cancer Institute, Milan.
