From Friday 26 May to Sunday 18 June 2023, there will be the PALIO DELLE CONTRADE in Tavernola Bergamasca.

In the evocative setting of Lake Iseo, the 4 districts of the town will raise their shields against each other in games of all kinds.

PLAN:

The long playful marathon opens on May 26 with the green week of Pùt del Diaol in Bianica. The first “mountain” games will take place on the slopes of Mount Pingiolo. Between races with the barrel and the cutting of the “bora” the ranking will take shape and it will already be possible to have an indication of the forces at play. From 3 to 4 June it will then be the turn of the red of Cambianica, the district of the well, between the construction of walls, gymkhanas and races on bricks.

From the third week the games will move from the hill to the shores of the lake.

From 10 to 11 June the games will take place between the blue streets of the village of Tavernola and the lake mirror with cotton swabs on the lake, punber balls and the “pale of the cuccagna” on the lake.

From 17 to 18 June the games in Gallinarga will close the prize with the mechanical bull, the human trunk, the head strike.
