Pascal Campion lights up “Lovere, il Borgo della luce”

The tenth edition of the “Lovere, il Borgo della luce” project will feature Pascal Campion, the Franco-American illustrator, Art Director of the Netflix and Warner Bros series “Green Eggs and Ham”, illustrator for Marvel, DreamWorks, Paramount and Disney.
Back at Christmas, for the tenth edition, “Lovere,il Borgo della luce”, a project created to enhance the architectural, historical and artistic beauties of one of the “most beautiful villages in Italy”.
The Franco-American artist Pascal Campion, who has long collaborated with DreamWorks, Paramount, Disney, Marvel, Art Director of the Netflix and Warner Bros series “Green Eggs and Ham”, co-author of the penguins of Madagascar and illustrator for the New Yorker, will be the protagonist of this Christmas edition of the Borgo della luce.
10,000 square metres of buildings overlooking the lakefront and the old town will be illuminated by the projections of works that describe the atmosphere of Christmas with the simplicity and lightness of everyday life, according to the artist’s thought which can be summed up in these words: “be as happy as you can with what you have: to be happy it is important to learn to appreciate the small, simple things that fill our day”.
The Borgo della luce will come to life and with new colours and suggestive images at 5 pm on Saturday, November 27th, accompanied by the Christmas notes from the Lovere Band and by the scenographies of the Silence Teatro. The screenings can be admired every evening from sunset to midnight until January 9th, 2022.
During this period, the artist Pascal Campion will travel specifically to Lovere from California for a visit during which he will be able to make himself known to the Italian public and admire his creations from a completely new and particular perspective.
The event will involve the wonderful Piazza Tredici Martiri, the Accademia Tadini, Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, in the ancient village of Lovere.
