Photo exhibition “Reflections”
From Friday 17 November 2023 to Sunday 26 November 2023 - h. 18:00
The photo exhibition entitled “Reflections“, which arrives in Iseo for its second stage inside the Oldofredi Castle, represents a fusion of two apparently opposite approaches: art and science.
The exhibition will take place on two consecutive weekends, 17th-18th-19th and 24th-25th-26th November, and can be visited at the following times:
- Friday 17th and 24th November from 6 to 9 pm
- Saturday 18th and 25th November from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 to 6 pm
- Sunday 19th and 26th November from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 to 6 pm.
In this project, the Mario Negri Institute and the photographer Ieva Astrauskaite come together in an incredible synergy to explore the importance, depth and interactions of Lake Iseo with the surrounding people and territories. This extraordinary union is motivated by a growing awareness: the urgent need to preserve the lake, its traditions, its culture and its precious waters, so that this legacy is not lost.
Within this extraordinary exhibition, the multiple reflections of Lake Iseo will be highlighted, divided into six significant categories, which will be illustrated through the forty photographic works on display, accompanied by detailed infographics on the state of health of Lake Iseo.
The goal is to educate the public about the priceless value of this natural and cultural resource, encouraging active commitment to its conservation for future generations. Lake Iseo, with its beauty and depth, remains a treasure to be preserved and handed down with pride and responsibility.
