Photo Exhibition ”Santa Croce Festival Through Time”
From Saturday 12 September 2020 to Saturday 31 October 2020 - h. 10:00
Famous throughout Lake Iseo are the festivities of Santa Croce, which regularly every five years – since 1836 – take place in September in Carzano di Monte Isola: it is the circumstance in which the whole town is decorated with thousands and thousands of paper flowers, made by families who have handed down the art from generation to generation.
This year the big festival, already lovingly awaited and prepared, will not take place due to Covid-19.
To remember and offer visitors a memory of what happened in the past, the Pro Loco of Monte Isola has decided to set up in the halls of the Tourist Office in Peschiera the exhibition entitled ”Santa Croce Festival Through Time”, with photographs of the past editions and with examples of traditional floral decorations.
