Presentation of the book – “Il gatto del presidente”

On Sunday, October 19th, at 6:00 pm, the Sarnico Municipal Auditorium will host a presentation of Luca Ruggeri’s book “The President’s Cat“, an intimate and touching journey through challenges, accomplishments, and loved ones. Moderator: Francesca Fenaroli.
The author generously shares his experience after being diagnosed with ALS in 2015, recounting how he navigates life with the disease alongside his family and loved ones. Through his words, Ruggeri invites the audience to reflect on the value of life, freedom of choice, and the importance of gratitude for the things we often take for granted.
Net proceeds from the book’s sales will be donated to the “Viva la Vita Italia” association, which supports people with ALS. Refreshments will follow the event.
The book’s afterword, “What is ALS,” is by psychotherapist Lidia Gazzi.
The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Sarnico, Department of Culture, and the local library.
