On Sunday 3 August at 6:00 PM, in the courtyard of the Solto Collina Municipal Library at Via Gian Battista Pozzi 6, a meeting will be held with Bernardino Pasinelli, co-author of the book “La scacchiera di Morci”.

In case of rain, the event will be held in the Council Chamber of the Solto Collina Municipality.

The evening will be introduced by the Commissario Prefettizio Beatrice Agata Mariano.

Based on a true story and real people, and set on the shores of Lake Iseo, “La Scacchiera di Morci” tells the story of a small community that fights and resists the heat of World War II.
It is a call to respect, friendship, solidarity, and love.
But above all, it is a call to remembrance.
