On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:30 PM, at the Municipal Auditorium of Villa Milesi in Lovere, the Lovere Civic Museum of Natural Sciences, together with the Lovere Cai Speleological Group, will dedicate an afternoon of remembrance and study to Roberto Ziglioli, founder and driving force of the Lovere speleological group.

“LA SPELEOLOGIA DI ROBERTO ZIGLIOLI: PROVARE PER CREDERE, MA CREDETEMI, PROVATE!”

An opportunity to retrace, with images and testimonies from friends and collaborators, some of his most important explorations in the caves and cavities of the Brescia and Bergamo areas.

– 2:30 PM: Welcome and registration;
– 3:00 PM: Introduction to the seminar by Aldo Avogadri, director of the Museum, “The Personality, Passion, and Speleological Legacy of Roberto Ziglioli”;
– 3:20 PM: The founding of the CAI Lovere Speleological Group and its history, by Maurizio Finazzi, with testimony from Domizio Cattaneo;
– 3:40 PM: Geological overview of the Brescia area explored by Roberto Ziglioli, personal reflections and memories, a look at the Valle del Trobiolo geo-mining park, by Fabio Fenaroli, geologist, and Brescian explorations in the memory of friends and collaborators: The Pontasio and Serradino Mines – The Govine Tufere – The Lakes of Esine;
– 4:50 PM: Coffee break;
– 5:10 PM: Geological overview of the Bergamo area explored by Roberto Ziglioli, personal reflections and memories, by Tiziana Carrara, geologist, and Bergamo explorations in memory of friends and collaborators: The Sovere AQ spring in the Corno Mailino – The caves of the Lovere area – Urban speleology;
– 6:00 PM: The Sebynica Group commemorates the dedication of a 65-meter well in the Bueno Fonteno cave to Roberto Ziglioli.
